If the scope lenses are clear and it just needs a general cleaning you can do it yourself. Its not too bad to disassemble and the only unique tool you might need would be to take out the center lense...

Great picture. Do you think just disassembling the turrets, cleaning wi alcohol and Q tips is all that's needed? I'd need to know what kind of lube to go back with and where to dab.

I would start with that. I used some slick50 grease inside them and haven't had an issue. I figured the thicker grease would have more staying power than just oil. Has worked so far. Check out the pic...
